Catena Zapata Nicolas 2015 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot)
- View: intense violet, black and bluish reflections.
- Nose: complex, ripe black fruit, bitter chocolate, licorice, mineral notes, floral notes, violet, herbaceous notes, spices and pepper.
- Mouth: structured, mineral notes, gooseberry, long and persistent.
GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.
AGEING: Aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels. Back rest in the bottle for 24 months.
PREPARATION: fermentation in French oak barrels from 225 to 500 liters; 10% and 90% whole bunches grapes. Grapes, manually overturned barrels, fermented for 15 days in the same, achieving a seamless integration of fruit / wood. low fermentation temperatures for higher extraction of aromatic components.
