You will like to know that…
The Bodega Catena Zapata Malbec 2018 produces only wines with the Malbec grape variety. Each vineyard brings specific characteristics to the wine: Lunlunta, located in Maipú, is a vineyard with plants more than eighty years old and brings a soft and sweet texture to the final blend; Agrelo grapes in Luján de Cuyo add elegant spicy notes; Altamira (San Carlos) grapes are responsible for the liveliness and acidity; Gualtallary, in the Tupungato terroir, gives floral notes and a concentrated structure. All these characteristics are due to the variety of soils in which the plants grow: clay, sand, sandstone, limestone deposits and rocks.
The Catena Zapata Malbec 2018 is an intense and fruity wine, lively and mineral, enriched by notes of leather and mocha, resulting from 14 months of ageing in wooden barrels. It is a concentrated and sweet wine that goes well with salmon dishes, roasted turkey, grilled meat and pasta with tomato sauce.

More about the WineryReviews of Catena Zapata Malbec 2018
Red ruby colour with reddish brown tinges. Main smell of caramel. It has a slight smoky flavour and it is very light, as well.
Highly recommend to drink it with friends at a barbecue.
The most acidic of Bodega Catena Zapata.
