Description of Catena Zapata Argentino Malbec 2017
Catena Zapata Argentino Malbec 2017 (Malbec)
- View: deep and bright purplish red.
- Nose: notes of violets, blueberries and spices.
- Mouth: elegant and persistent.
VINEYARD: it is made only with grapes from old vines of malbec two of the historic vineyards of the firm: Angelica, at 920 meters altitude and Nicasia, 1095.
GRAPES: 100% Malbec.
AGEING: The wine is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: the wine ferments for a month in new French oak barrels of various volumes (from 225 to 500 liters) and 20% of the grapes makes the whole cluster.
