TASTING NOTES:
- View: Dark violet.
- Nose: Notes small fresh ripe black fruit, wild flowers, mocha and snuff.
- Mouth: large structure and concentration. Soft and velvety texture in the middle palate intense flavors of cassis and perceived currants with subtle hints of chocolate, vanilla and black pepper, the final offers attractive mineral flavor with finely integrated tannins and refreshing acidity.

GRAPES: 100% Malbec
AGEING: 18 months in French oak.
PREPARATION: Fermentation alcoholic and malolactic in barrels; battonage intense regime.
WINE PAIRING: Ideal to serve with grilled meats, stews, pastas, ripe cheeses.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: Between 16 ° C and 18 ° C

In 1994, Nicolas and his team were confident they had identified the best lots for growing Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. First, Jose Galante, winemaker since 1975, bottling a small cut grapes from the oldest and most uniform batches of Uxmal vineyard (which later was called because of its location Agrelo vineyard in the district of Agrelo). 300 cases were divided wine Catena Alta Cabernet Sauvignon.
