VINEYARD: Blanchard y Lurton. A recent collaboration between Andres Blanchard and François Lurton gave way to the creation of the first vineyard in Argentina dedicated exclusively to the production of high-quality white wines.
GRAPES: 60% Tokai, 20% Viognier, 10% Chardonnay, and 10% Pinot Gris.
AGEING: Eleven to twelve months for each individual variety, prior to blending and bottling.
PREPARATION: The Tokai and Chardonnay grapes were handpicked separately, and the macerated grapes are fermented in French oak barrels at 18°C for 14 days, before being aged in the fine lees. Viognier grapes were treated as if they were of a red variety. The fermentation for these grapes took place in open barrels, leaving the fruit intact for the process. The wine is then left in the fine lees for ageing. For the Pinot Gris variety, the grapes were picked mechanically, and the vinification and ageing are conducted in stainless steel tanks, without any contact with oak. This elaborated process brings a level of complexity and multiple layers to create a top-quality wine.
PAIRING: Perfect for a grilled vegetables salad.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8-10°C
