In 1994, Nicolas and his team were confident they had identified the best lots for growing Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. First, Jose Galante, winemaker since 1975, bottling a small cut grapes from the oldest and most uniform batches of Uxmal vineyard (which later was called because of its location Agrelo vineyard in the district of Agrelo). 300 cases were divided wine Catena Alta Cabernet Sauvignon.

Det var bra med kött. Endast 2010 är värd besväret.
Det såg ut att ha en mycket uppladdad färg. Balsamiska aromer och mentol. Syrligheten hos Bodega Catena Zapata kändes bra.

Det beste ved måltidet. Jeg smakte den på et kurs.
Rød med hint av lilla. Lukter hasselnøtter og mandler. Den smakte bare druer.

En vin til at nyde med en ven.
Intens rød Bordeaux. Dens duft er som slik. Meget god syre.
Vin af Bodega Catena Zapata tog jeg med grillede grøntsager.

Dark red tone and furthermore rather opaque. When you smell it you can note aromas such as licorice, violet, ....This Mendoza tasted like what it has to be, that is grapes.
We had it with a deer stew.
Argento Malbec Mendoza is a wine to share with your family.

I drank it together with my sister.
It has a very nice colour. Nice smell of wood (cedar). Strong coffee flavour.
I had the pleasure of taking it at a barbecue.
