APPELLATION: Mendoza (Argentina).
VINEYARD: Altos Las Hormigas.
AGEING: Madura in wooden fudres not toast oak for 22 months.
PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested by hand and then being macerated in stainless steel tanks for a few months, the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and matures in fudres.
WINE PAIRING: Ideal with red meats, grills, pizzas, casseroles, stews, sausages, fish blue, hard cheeses, aged cheeses and rice with meat.

This red wine is cherry with brown edges. Smells like chocolate. Reminded me of burned wood and it was a pleasant taste.
