TASTING NOTES OF D'Arenberg The Sticks And Stones Tempranillo Grenache 2009:
- View: intense and bright red.
- Nose: Fragrant aromas, flowery, a mixture of herbaceous leaves, berries, blueberries, plums, fresh strawberry jam dark red and violet. When opened, aromatic notes of musk, violets, black cherry, wild tomato and strong floral notes, a touch of spice and hints of fine oak.
- Mouth: soft, seductive and bigger due to Shiraz, elegant flavors, a dark earthy tone, notes of blueberry, palate, lovely softness about it.
APPELLATION: South Australia.
GRAPES: 48% Tempranillo, 42% Garnacha, 10% Shiraz.
Aging: 10 months in oak barrels.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
