Reviews about D'Arenberg The Love Grass Shiraz 2013

- The aromas are complex and intriguing. For what was a ripe year the red and dark fruits are fresh and lifted with cinnamon spice and cured meat adding complexity.
- The palate is equally complex with plum boysenberry and raspberry alongside more savoury characters of charred meat black olive and dark chocolate.
- Chalky dusty tannins, pull the wine into focus nicely, and provide for a long finish.

Should absolutely be paired with fish. I sometimes surprise my family with this wine.
Its intense colour caught my attention. Flowery aromas. A very well balanced McLaren Vale.

Reviews about D'Arenberg The Love Grass Shiraz 2010

The wine displays a mix of fruit and spice, a result of the myriad of minor varieties that cling to the bones of the Shiraz and draw it in all sorts of different directions. Fresh and lively, black and red fruits, pepper, clove and cinnamon. The palate, whilst showing the poise and focus common amongst the 2011's, develops its richness in the glass. Ensure you take a moment to savour this wine and watch its complex mix of fruits evolve from tight and linear at first to rich, dark and exotic.
