Description
16 Stops Mclaren Vale Shiraz 2019 (Shiraz)
TASTING NOTES:
- Colour: Deep red.
- Nose: Youthful and vibrant, with a rich dark fruit and spiced plum character on the nose.
- Mouth: The oak supports rather than masks the fruit, which is bright and lively yet plush and fleshy on the palate. The tannins are ripe and silky, giving the wine a texture that is unusual at this price range.
APPELLATION: McLaren Vale
VINEYARD: 16 Stops
GRAPES: Shiraz
AGEING: The majority was matured in tank, with a small proportion matured in French oak, to complement the rich McLaren Vale flavours.
WINEMAKING: The wine was fermented in static fermenters with minimal cap management allowing soft and gentle extraction of the natural tannins from the fruit. Following seven days on the skins, the juice was pressed to tank for malolactic fermentation.
ABV: 14.5%
Cor muito bonita. Tem aroma a cereja e frutos vermelhos. Excesso de acidez.
Melhor com verdura.
