Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2017 (Sauvignon Blanc)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: yellow.
  • Nose: dominated by citrus aromas of melon and passion fruit intermixed with hints of cumin.
  • Mouth: dominated by notes of grapefruit, melon, passionfruit and impeccable freshness in the mouth. It is an expressive, fresh and exuberant wine that every lover of the variety should try at least once.

APPELLATION: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

VINEYARD: Spy Valley.

GRAPES: Sauvignon Blanc.

AGEING: A portion of the wine passes through oak barrels.

PREPARATION: organic products are used and low toxicity in the winery and vineyard to ensure the least possible impact on the environment and human health. The bottles are made up to 96% recycled glass. Contrubyen also a voluntary tax through the Forum of glass containers to ensure that more glass is recycled in the country.

The Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc shows exotic floral hints of jasmine. I didn't notice any aftertaste, but the taste was right.
A different wine.

The Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc has a deep yellow colour. Very aromatic, with a predominance of bananas and lychees. It wasn't at its optimal service temperature, it would have tasted better if so.
To combine with seafood from the north of Spain.
I drank it together with my sister.

TASTING NOTES OF Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2013:
- View: Pale straw.
- Nose: a lot of herbs, sage, oregano, black pepper, green ginger and grapefruit, tropical fruit background.
- Mouth: Full and smooth initial feeling, layers of fresh fruit, more sarbosas notes and a crisp finish.
