Château Siran 2016 (Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc)
- View: deep purple garnet.
- Nose: nose of blackcurrant and chocolate covered cherries, streaks of black earth, licorice and violets.
- Boca: half body, filled with granulated tannins and good fruit core.
VINEYARD: Area: 25 hectares. Alluvial soil with sand and gravel.
GRAPES: 55% Merlot, 38% Cabernet sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot.
AGEING: planned 12 months in French oak barrels, 35% are new barrels.
METHOD: Handpicked in boxes of 60 kilos. Vinification tanks 60 to 180 hectoliters of stainless steel with temperature control.
WINE PAIRING: red and white meat.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%
