Description of Château Palmer 1957
Château Palmer 1957
TASTING NOTES Château Palmer 1957 :
- View: deep purple.
- Nose: The nose of macerated hot blackberries, figs, cocoa, sweet spices, roasted coffee, caramel, leather and smoke.
- Mouth: Full-bodied and generous in the mouth with opulent fruit and soft tannins, the wine becomes round and fleshy yet retains a tenacious welcome freshness.
The balance is there right to the end that never ends.
The richness of the harvest in no way takes away from the races of the terroir.
Bottle should be kept for a few years. Probable duration: 2012-2030.
The Winery
Château Palmer

A grand cru is a matter of origin in time as in space. The Château Palmer style is embedded in history and dedicated to the expression of its terroir. It is a style beyond fashion and trends. To experience its timelessness, there is no better way than to taste it. Again and again.
