It is difficult to sum up in a few lines the long and splendid history of the estate. It could perhaps be entitled 'There was once an estate called Château Margaux'.

Red wine of Margaux (France) Château Margaux produced by the winery with grapes Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Its combination with food would best with roasts, stews, grilled meat and game birds and ground. It can be drunk in perfect condition now to 2030. We believe that this wine must decanted, and served at a temperature of between 12ºC and 16ºC preferably in a glass of Bordeaux type.

The longer than average winter delayed bud break by one week compared to the usual dates
Then the warm, sunny spring encouraged regular growth and allowed rapid flowering in the early days of June, exactly the same dates as last year
Thanks to the excellent weather conditions, the fruit set was perfectly successful, but the amount of harvest was already lower than in 2004, as there were significantly fewer clusters per foot
All summer was beautiful, and especially especially: barely 100 millimeters of rain fell between May 1 and the beginning of the harvest! We had never seen anything like it..
Fortunately, it was hot without excess
One hardly imagines what would have been the consequences of such a drought in 2003! But the big terrois - it is partly for this reason that they are great terroirs - have an extraordinary capacity to dampen the excesses of nature

They seem to react with the same sense of measure and balance that characterizes the wines they produce.

Rather clear red hue. Aromas of licorice and violet. It was light.
A red that paired extremely well with the food.
I shared a few glasses of Château Margaux with that person I always am happy to drink wine with.

This Margaux accompanied us while waiting for food. I drank with my partner.
Nice colour. Very good aromas of vanilla. The taste was a bit salty, I was greatly surprised.

It was served while having an appetizer. At a dinner with other couples.
Red tinted brown. Aromas of raspberry. Too watery in the mouth.
