Château Cantenac Brown 2010 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)

  • View: Château Cantenac-Brown 2010 has a dense purple
  • Nose: with an extraordinary nose of underbrush, blackberry jam, ink and graphite fly this wine glass, which gives it an aromatic dimension and intensity I've ever seen in this area.
  • Mouth: Tannins are present, as in most Cantenac Browns, but the sweetness of the wine, its density on the palate, its great length (about one minute) creates a secure fabulous value and classical era

PAIRING: on a piece of beef, game, roast turkey with chestnuts, a lamb in Medoc, painted on the BBQ ...

WINEMAKING: aging in French oak barrels (60% new) for 12-14 months.

Château Cantenac Brown

Château Cantenac Brown

At the beginning of the 19th century, John-Lewis Brown (1769-1851), acquired a domain and chose to build on the commune of Cantenac a castle of English Renaissance style (Tudor) which will remind him of his Scottish origins. His name will remain forever attached to the Grand Cru Classé. His grandson, John-Lewis Brown (1829-1890), famous animal painter and Knight of the Legion of Honor, also stayed there as a child.

Vi drack några glas med några kolleger under en måltid.
Kombination av rött och brunt. Det luktade kola och kaffe. Smak av Björnbär.
Jag tog det med bläckfisk och det gick bra.
