2015 - Non contractual picture. Brio, the second wine of Château Cantenac-Brown, offers finesse and pleasure. A stronger assembly Merlot than its predecessor gives it a fruity character, greedy and flexible, relieved by spicy and vanilla acquired during its passage in oak casks. Margaux to enjoy the fruit of 2 to 5 years after the harvest, but that will also be forgotten in the cellar for several years, where he will gain in complexity. Food & Wine Agreements and Service: You can enjoy this Brio de Cantenac Brown in 2015 with a truffle risotto, sautéed ceps or a beef filet with foie gras. Serve between 16º and 18º - potential: 2025 Domaine Château Cantenac-Brown: In the early 19th century John Lewis Brown (1769-1851) acquires a domain and chooses to build on the commune of Cantenac a castle English Renaissance style (Tudor) that will remind her Scottish origins. His name will remain forever attached to the Grand Cru. His little son, John Lewis Brown (1829-1890), famous wildlife artist and Knight of the Legion of Honor, has also stayed in his childhood.
In 1843 the property was sold to Mr. Gromard banker by profession. This is the Bordeaux merchant and owner of several châteaux in the Médoc, Louis Armand Lalande (1820-1894), which will expand and enrich the building after grading of 1855. Surrounded by a remarkable English park, the property has since among the most original Médoc. Since 2006, José Sanfins and his team apply to value the magnificent terroir of the property, with the greatest respect of the soil, the vine and its environment. In 2019, the French Le Lous family purchased Château Cantenac Brown. Large investments are made in the service of a contemporary vision and daring of viticulture.

- On the nose, ripe fruits dark with a balanced tannin
- An already very accessible Margaux

I enjoyed it to squid. Good wine, even better in good company.
Especially its colour pleased me . This 2010 has a toffee aftertaste. Softer than 2010.

It had a dark red colour. Pleasant hints of coffee. The mild flavour and the chocolate were present.
The ideal wine to finish a meal.
The first person who mentioned this wine to me, was my brother.
