You will like to know that...

La Bruja de Rozas 2016 is an elegant and fresh wine, and one of the best Garnachas in the present panorama.

For those who haven't yet had the pleasure of trying it yet, this village wine, whose vineyards are located between the provinces of Madrid and Ávila, in the Sierra de Gredos, is one of the star products of the exciting project by Fernando García, Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi and Marc Isart, in charge of Comando G.

The three young winemakers joined efforts, personal trajectories and knowledge inherited from acquired family experience to produce a series of wines that share freshness, ease, elegance and quality, along with a youthful, modern image both on the label and in the names.

Specifically, the name of this La Bruja de Rozas 2016 refers to the almost always gray skies and the haunting light so typical of the area surrounding Las Rozas del Puerto Real. Meanwhile, the label is work of the artist and designer Coqué Azcona, whose illustrations are in total harmony with the amiable, fun and emotive character of this great wine.

Besides all this, there is another reasons to be seduced by this wine: its excellent value for money, recognized and confirmed by the fantastic scores achieved in Parker and other guides of great international influence.

La Bruja de las Rozas 2016

Witch Rozas is a wine made by a group three of winemakers called Comando G, which comes from grapes from vineyards of granitic, sandy soil, which favors its unique character. Raised in oak vats between 30 and 45 Hl. and 500 liter barrels for five months. The wine is friendly, simple but not easy, fruit and mineral blend seamlessly by bringing back the full potential of the variety G (grenache) command.

Comando G was one of the most popular cartoon in Spain during the 80s. Tell us the adventures of five young people who defended the Earth from threats from outer space. Fans of the series, the winemakers Daniel Jiménez-Landi and Fernando García grew up dreaming of fighting monsters. Today, using the name of the series, they have become a kind of superhero in real life. But instead of protecting the planet, they have a very different mission: save historic vineyards on the brink of extinction and produce the best wines of Spain, injecting new life into the local economy through ecological and sustainable agriculture. Comando G is the name of the small winery created by Jiménez-Landi and García in 2008, dedicated to rescuing old vineyards in the Sierra de Gredos, 75 kilometers from Madrid.
