Cobos Felino Chardonnay 2016 (Chardonnay)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: yellow, limpid and green flashes.
- Nose: Great intensity, notes of fruits like pear, peach and pineapple, white flowers, orange blossom and delicate notes of bread shell.
- Mouth: good volume and oiliness, a vivacious, elegant, perfumed with great balance and persistence acidity.
APPELLATION: Luján de Cuyo.
GRAPES: Chardonnay.
AGEING: Aged for 4 months in French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: alcoholic indigenous malolactic yeasts and bacteria indigenous fermentation.
PAIRING: shrimp risotto.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8-10 °C

- Citrus and mineral notes create a refreshing finish.
- Winter temperatures were colder than average with abundant snowfall, providing an excellent reserve of water for use during the warm growing season that followed.
- A small crop set of well-formed clusters saw early veraison due to a particularly hot, dry summer.
- Though temperatures cooled in February, the overall warmth of the growing season brought an early harvest with chardonnay showing excellent richness while retaining bright acidity.
