Description of Alamos Malbec 2018
Alamos Malbec 2018 (Bonarda, Malbec and Syrah)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: deep purple, violet reflexes.
- Nose: intense black fruit with light floral notes and toast.
- Mouth: highly concentrated, with pronounced flavors of cassis and raspberries, I leave a slight chocolate and sweet spice from aging. long finish, with ripe, silky tannins.
APPELLATION: Mendoza.
VINEYARD: Vineyards located in Argentina's Mendoza region, at an altitude of between 900 and 1,500 metros.Viñedos located in Argentina's Mendoza region, at an altitude of between 900 and 1,500 meters. Soils rich in minerals.
GRAPES: 85% Malbec, 10% Bonarda and 5% Syrah.

In 1994, Nicolas and his team were confident they had identified the best lots for growing Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. First, Jose Galante, winemaker since 1975, bottling a small cut grapes from the oldest and most uniform batches of Uxmal vineyard (which later was called because of its location Agrelo vineyard in the district of Agrelo). 300 cases were divided wine Catena Alta Cabernet Sauvignon.
