The Listrac-Médoc Château Clarke born in vineyards located within the prestigious French wine region of the Medoc, in the greater Bordeaux area. It is produced mainly with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected at hand. The fermentation takes place in wooden casks, at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged for 14-18 months in oak barrels before being bottled. This Listrac-Médoc is characterized by a ruby red color with garnet and considering the years. The nose opens with inviting aromas of ripe red fruit and cocoa, enriched with notes of licorice and vanilla. The palate is round, delicate, yet intense, with long persistence. Perfect to accompany grilled red meat also is ideal in combination with furred game and aged cheeses.
