Porta 6 Branco 2018 (Arinto, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc)

- Nose: Inviting aromas of ripe tropical fruits, citrus zest, minerals, and white flower blossoms
- Mouth: Porta 6 Branco 2018 opens with a rounded mouthfeel and buttery texture. The taste is delightfully fresh with fruit notes of crisp green apple, mango, passionfruit, and pineapple supported by a structured minerality. The finish is medium-long with a pleasant honeysuckle taste.
VINEYARD: Vidigal Wines. Vidigal is a family winery that is medium in size. Its 100 years of history gives the winery the expertise to make exceptionally sophisticated wines that have received international praise. Vidigal cooperates with several vineyards throughout the sunny region of Lisbon, Portugal. The grapes for Porta 6 Branco 2018 are indigenous to this Mediterranean climate and were carefully grown in clay and limestone soil.
GRAPES: 60% Fernão Pires (Maria Gomes), 30% Arinto and 10% Moscatel
PREPARATION: Upon arriving at the vineyard, the grapes were carefully crushed and then soft pressed. The alcoholic fermentation took place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15ºC.
PAIRING: Turkey, roasted chicken, Peking duck, seasoned lamb, grilled fish, shellfish, green herbal salads, various light pastas with basil, Vietnamese cuisine, sushi.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 7-8°C

Vidigal Wines is a company that produces still wines and liqueur of medium size and family character. it is located in the Leiria area of central Portugal. The origins of the company date from the beginning of the 20th century, in a Quinta founded by a Canon of the Church. During the last century, the company had a couple of owners until the beginning of the 90's when the current director, António Mendes Lopes - took over management.
