You will like to know that…
Lying on the Mediterranean Sea, Cartagena is the home to thousands of years of history, along with being the home to the delightful Licor 43, which can trace its roots to the Ancient Romans. The Roman recipe for Liqvor Mirabillis was what the company was attempting to recreate in the 1940s when the secret recipe for Licor 43 was then discovered.
If you were wondering where the number 43 in the liqueur's name comes from, it is because there are exactly 43 ingredients used in the top-secret recipe. A member of the Zamora family prepares the secret formula and then leaves it to age for a few months. When this maturation period has ended, the product is subjected to sub-zero temperatures before being microfiltered.
Open a bottle of Licor 43 and feel the "pure passion", as their motto says, with which it is made. The bright golden liqueur shines with the harmony of its diverse collection of ingredients and the sun of the Mediterranean Sea is trapped within its liquid depths. Licor 43 is perfect to enjoy neat, on the rocks, or mixed. Its versatility allows it to add layers of flavours to any mixture it may join into, bringing with it hints of vanilla, citrus, and spices.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: Licor 43 1L gets its name from the 43 ingredients that are used to make it. Of course, Licor 43 is not about to reveal their secret recipe to the world. So, while we know 43 ingredients are used, we do not know what all of the ingredients are. Once the secret ingredients are mixed, the liquid is left to age for several months.
