PRODUCER: Aber Falls Distillery. The distillery was founded in 2017 in a 19th-century building that has found many uses over the years. Aber Falls, who takes their name from the nearby Aber Falls, meticulously refurbished and restored the building before beginning to craft their premium spirits using only authentic Welsh ingredients.
COUNTRY: North Wales, the UK. In the small village of Abergwyngregyn, at the opening of Snowdonia National Park.
PRODUCTION DETAILS: Made using two copper stills, named Golchi and Gwirod, which have been specially designed to ensure maximum contact with the liquid while the copper removes any sulphur. The violets are sourced from the Menai Strait where they can be found growing in a beautiful purple blanket which cover the ground. Aber Falls proud of their sustainability and only using locally-sourced products.
