Rigg's Shrub Cordial is a wonderful blend of raspberries and blackberries. Combining fruit and alcohol was popularised in the 17th and 18th century by rum smugglers who used fruit to disguise the taste of alcohol.
This fruity liqueur is ideal served over ice with lemonade or fiery ginger beer and makes a great addition to fruity cocktails. Serve with lots of ice, summer berries, a dash of lime and a sprig of mint for a refreshing summer drink.
