Angelo Gaja Langhe Gaia & Rey 2014

Gaia & Rey is a beautiful wine a mineral, pure chardonnay, full of tropical fruit and silky, elegant tannins (!). The flavor is rich with concentrated ripe fruit, balanced by its lively fresh acidity. The finish keeps continuing. For those with patience: 'Gaia & Rey was only after about five years of cellar aging at its best.

Gaja & Rey Chardonnay 2014

GAJA & REY Chardonnay 2014 Straw Brilliant. Delicate and complex at the same time. Initially evokes ripe tropical fruit, citrus zest and aromatic mix, then play on white chocolate recalls and melted butter. Sinuous and enveloping on the palate, fresh and soft. long finish with soft vanilla returns.

Clear memories of white flowers. Powerful flavour.
A very good white but with too much wood flavour.

Gaja Gaia E Rey 2015
We tested this Gaja with my club mates.
Its intense colour attracted me. Strong aromas of citrus. It was a rich wine.
I recommend to pair it with "Pinchos" or "Tapas".

Gaja Gaia & Rey Chardonnay Langhe 2013
Great with seafood. Brought by a friend and I opened it with him.
Intense colour at first sight. It has aromas of white flowers. This white is lasting, it has a long aftertaste.
