Kumeu River began more than half a century on his arrival in New Zealand when Brajkovich family begins a new life. In their home country, Mick and Kate had experience in growing small plots, as well as make their own wine. In some years of work, saved enough to buy a property, Kumeu, with a small vineyard. This Huntin Hill is a vineyard that was planted in the year 1982 and is an important part of the original mixture of Kumeu River chardonnay. Harvested by hand, once in the winery are pressed to the resulting juice allow a first fermentation and subsequently be transgressest to barrels to complete malo-lactic fermentation for 11 months.

To me, this 2017 seemed more yellow than other vintages. Kumeu River Hunting Hill Chardonnay recalls white fruit. Correct acidity.
Goes great with "Paella rice".
Attractive and intense colour. Aromas of freshly picked lemon from the tree. Light on the palate.
