Chapel Down Brut
TASTING NOTES:
- View: pale gold, good clarity and tiny bubbles.
- Nose: aromas of red apple, lemongrass and freshly baked bread.
- Mouth: hints of strawberry and quince on the palate and fine persistent bubbles.
APPELLATION: Kent.
GRAPES: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
AGEING: matured on fine lees in tanks for six months. Aged on its lees for approximately 18 months.
PREPARATION: after manual harvest fruit subjected to a cold fermentation followed by a complete malolactic fermentation.
WINE PAIRING: as an appetizer or as a perfect match for the British classic: fish and chips.
ALCOHOL: 12%
