Juan Gil Etiqueta Plata 2017 (Monastrell)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: intense and brilliant ruby ​​color with garnet and purple hues.
  • Nose: intense and citrus aromas, with notes of black fruits, licorice and smoked spices.
  • Mouth: enveloping flavor with spicy notes of ripe red fruits and well integrated tannins.

APPELLATION: Jumilla (Murcia, Spain).

VINEYARD: Bodegas Juan Gil.

GRAPES: Monastrell.

AGEING: Madura over a period of 4 months in barrels of French and American oak.

PREPARATION: After the grapes are selected carefully and handpicked, they undergo a fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures of 27 °C, and cold maceration.

PAIRING: Semi-mature Cheese, sausage, cream and grilled red meats.

TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5%
