Honoro Vera Organic Monastrell 2018 (Monastrell)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: once served in the glass we see a deep red wine, presents luminosity is provided by its bright flashes of purple.
  • Nose: is wide where the ripe red fruit aromas and notes of sweet peach currants, herbaceous freshness, chocolaty aromas and toasted highlights.
  • Mouth: on the palate a pleasant wine with good structure shown, is bulky and sweet, good balance of flavors. nice finish and leaves us wanting more.

APPELLATION: O.D. Montsant.

VINEYARD: Cellers Baronia del Montsant.

GRAPES: Grenache and Samsó.

AGEING: oak barrels.

METHOD: Handpicked and thorough collection of grapes. Cellar is again selected and de-stemmed. Pass chamber maceration short 3 hours and then brought to the press. The wort is fermented with yeasts in stainless steel tanks for 14 days.

PAIRING: Red meats grilled, braised lamb.

RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE SERVICE: 16-18 ° C
