Casa Castillo Monastrell 2017 (Garnacha and Monastrell)
- View: Cherry red color of medium-high layer.
- Nose: Intense entry, with a predominance of sweet and almost compote red fruit and light balsamic memories and well integrated wood.
- Mouth: Very fresh, easy to drink, good acidity, tannins present and a long finish with a slight bitterness.
DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Jumilla (Murcia, Spain).
VINEYARD: Located in a valley area with more than 25 years in sandy loam soil, glass and dry land formation, and continental Mediterranean climate.
GRAPES: Garnacha (88%) and Monastrell (12%)
AGING: Aged for between 10 and 12 months in 5,000-liter casks.
PREPARATION: grapes are meticulously selected and picked by hand. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 24 and 27 ° C, and a smooth maceration of the skins.
