Licor Beirão was born at the end of the 19th century in the Redondo family estate in Lousã. The recipe has remained unchanged since then, but very few people know it. What we know is that Licor Beirão is produced from the double distillation of Portuguese plants, seeds and spices, to which are added flavours from all over the world! The name "Beirão" literally means "de Beira", a former province of Portugal formerly located in the centre of the country.
Licor Beirão can be drunk fresh as a digestive, with dessert, on ice with the addition of an orange slice or mixed in a cocktail. The real taste of Portugal.
