Even if Moulin de la Lagune 2012 is often referred to as the "second wine" of the Château de la Lagune, this is by no means an indication of its quality. Indeed, when Caroline Frey arrived in 2004, she started with the elaboration of two new wines: the "Moulin de la Lagune" and "Mademoiselle L". These two wines stand out among Bordeaux wines for their high content of Merlot. Moulin de la Lagune 2012 is fresh and intense. This wine will charm you with its youthful character and delight you with its berry aromas.

Chateau la Lagune Moulin de la Lagune Haut-Medoc 2012

The Château La Lagune wine is of a red ruby colour, having reddish brown edges. Complex scents of chocolate and toffee. Black plum compote flavours.
We had it with a birthday cake.
I found it at a wine tasting.
Do not buy in supermarkets, it won't be well conserved.
This red is the best I've ever tasted.

Moulin de la Lagune Haut-Medoc 2011
This is very pleasing to the eye. Raspberry aromas quite present. It just tasted like grape.
It wasn't well paired with food.
I drank it plane.

The Moulin de la Lagune has a red cherry colour. Aromas of coffee, toffee. I liked the acidity of 2010.
Great with vegetables and grilled meat.
I drank with my brothers.
