Moulin de la Lagune Haut Medoc
Juicy black fruit flavours and balanced acidity, together with soft, wel rounded tannins over soft French oak.
The history of La Lagune begins with vines first recorded there in the beginning of the 17th century, however, the major improvements have occurred under the current ownership of the Frey family
A new cuverie was built in 2004 and since then, the fruit has expressed itself with an intensity and class that belies its third Cru Classe status.
Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot
Region: France / Bordeaux / Haut Medoc
Maker: Caroline Frey
Notes: A ripe, black fruit nose. Consistent in the mouth, well integrated tannins and a lovely fruity finish. A certain opulence is present due to the characteristics of the vintage and there is also much freshness, elegance and balance in the wine. It is a perfect expression of the terroir of La Lagune.
Serve: At 16-18c this wine is excellent with roast and grilled red meats and cheese.
