La Closerie de Camensac 2011

Winter and early spring are rainy
May and June are scorching and very dry
The plant redoubles vigor
The flower goes well appreciating this dry weather
July is opportunely the coolest for 30 years
August is divided between the great and the dark
The great humidity and the heat give cause for anxiety, threatening to rot
Wind and sun inaugurate the harvest
The tension drops
With maturity advancing at the forefront with rot, the harvesting of the few contaminated grapes, the tannins will go all the way to quality.

Château Camensac Closerie de Camensac 2016
The perfect wine to serve it with Faggot (food). Special wine for couples.
At sight, it offered an intense cherry colour. Especially noticeable smoky aromas in this Château Camensac. Raspberry flavour.

I drank this 2015 with my co-workers.
Cherry red colour with purple edges. This La Closerie de Camensac with its raspberry aromas might be considered as delicacy. It has a smoky colour.
I enjoyed it without pairing.

Typical opacity of a Château Camensac. The tobacco smell is very strong. Caramel flavour.
It was served while having an appetizer.
I'll try again at the upcoming wine tasting.
