Château Sociando Mallet Magnum 2014

-An intensity of the fruit -A power and finesse of the tannins -The cabernets sauvignon have a high concentration of polyphenols due to a low percentage of juices and thick skins
-Due to the homogeneity of the seasons, the presence of acidity makes it possible to bring a very beautiful freshness to the wine.

I'll try again at the upcoming wine tasting.
Clear ruby red colour. The raspberry aromas are quite present. A soft, fresh wine.
I had it with fish, but I didn't like the fish, and therefore the wine didn't taste right.

- View: It has a deep red color, due to the presence of tannins.
- Nose: characteristic aroma reminiscent of black fruits such as blueberries and raspberries.
- Mouth: Consistent in complete and generous, persistent palate with final notes of fresh fruit.

VINEYARD: The estate Chateau Sociando Mallet Jaean Gautreau, overlooking the Gironde, and benefits from the mild climate of the basin. The land on which the vines grow, is very grainy 2/3, minerals, and 1/3 clay and well drained. These features allow the growth of different varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot typical.
GRAPES: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot 40%, 5% Cabernet Franc.

AGEING: wine with great potential for aging in the cellar.
PREPARATION: Collect strictly by hand and placed in wooden boxes, grapes not classified before stopping and finally sent to compression. Traditional vinification process, involves using only native yeasts and mallolitica fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature (approximately 18 °C) of 25 to 30 days. This procedure improves the overall organoleptic qualities of the wine. Finally aged in oak barrels for 12 months, followed by another in the bottle.

PAIRING: For the important presence of tannins, which goes well with red meat.
ALCOHOL: 13.5 °
