Château Sociando Mallet Haut-Médoc Ac Cru Bourgeois 2011

Red intense cherry colour and high layer. Nuts presence on the nose. This is what is called a fleshy wine.
Perfect with lamb stew.
My friends wanted me to taste it.

Reviews about Château Sociando-Mallet 2009

Château Sociando-Mallet 2009
Sociando Mallet dates back to 1633 and is named from the oldest owner, a "sieur Sociando" having a 'noble vineyard in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne. It is around 1850 that the winery took its final name thanks to the new owner and widow Mrs. Mallet.
Since 1989 Jean Gautreau has managed to make Sociando Mallet one of the greatest Haut Médoc.

It is qualified as a "serious wine" by the English magazine Decanter. Do not miss this wine: it is not a "cru bourgeois" but could easily be considered as a Classified Growth!
A wine to age to discover a fantastic wine.Drink or keep: 2015 - 2025Delicious with: Roasted beef

I would suggest that you serve it with a good potatoes stew. With my friends we always order Château Sociando Mallet.
Brillant ruby red colour, high layer. Good smell of coffee and toffee. A little bit salty but it was very good.

Its intense colour attracted me. Raspberry flavour. The best aftertaste of Haut-Médoc.
My partner paired it with several snacks. Was a good idea.
I drank it with a business client.
