Château Giscours Château de Cassana Haut Medoc 2012

The broad nose has cherry and blackcurrant with floral notes (roses and violets) and light spices. The palate is velvety, round and full of delicate fleshy fruity at its centre. The finish is stretched by a gentle freshness.

The fruit for this great red grows in vineyards located near the river Gironde in a temperate climate allowing the 40 year old vines to draw up all the finesse, complexity, and aromatic richness that characterises the great wines of the region.
With a delicious herbal taste up front and smooth tannins on the finish this elegant red has refined fruity notes and a long finish.
