On the soil of the town of Saint-Laurent-du-Médoc, the 60 hectares of the Château de Camensac are in the limit of Saint-Julien appellation. The winery is located without doubt, the most beautiful ridge of the town, ideally drained.
With a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot, combined with an exceptional terroir, this Haut-Médoc Cru Fifth is comparable to its neighbors.
The wines are mostly aged in new barrels (35 to 70%) during 17 to 20 months, in order to awaken the potential of new oak, giving them a portion of their wealth.
On burgundy both dark but bright, his nose will seduce you with its accuracy. Its aromas of red fruits and flowers, slightly peppery, reinforcing further after agitation. In the mouth the attack is frank, and leave later to express the delicacy of this wine. Good length.

Red wine with violet reflections. Coffee aromas.I like the slight roughness it leaves you on the mouth.
I had the pleasure of taking it at a barbecue.
My partner loves this Haut-Médoc.
