How to serve
Walking through the castle grounds, it is evident that the history of it dates back far beyond the 1855 classification. Citran is indeed one of the oldest estates in the Médoc. The Marquis de Donissan, allied to the family several times in France, have ruled here for 600 years and have abandoned their castle in the middle of the XIX century. Since then the management of the castle wine has undergone various contingencies.More about the Winery
Reviews of Château Citran Magnum 2010
This rather mild wine pairs perfectly with roast lamb I've already tried it.
My boss gifted to me.
This wine is of a very attractive cherry colour. It mainly smells like chocolate. Although I prefer less sweet wines, this one it was good.
A red that pairs well with moussaka.
Violet red colour of a young wine. Strong smell of berries. Nice, dense and warm in the mouth.
