View: Château Charmail 2012 is a dark bluish purple.
Nose: aromas of cassis, blueberries, blackberries, charcoal and acacia flowers.
Mouth: Medium in rich body, fruity, attractive and clean wine with a fleshy mouthfeel.

GRAPES: 47% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot 3%.

Olivier Sèze, le propriétaire de ce beau domaine du Haut-Médoc, voisin du Château Sociando-Mallet, produit des vins riches et structurés.

Un très bon rapport qualité-prix de l'appellation Haut Médoc.

It was a gift from a friend who had bought it here.
Red with violet nuances. In my opinion, the most noticeable smell is raspberry. It reminded me of black plums.

I drank it with a connoisseur of wines.
The red and violet edges were visible for me. Fantastic smell of roses. Fleshy, smoothy.
Good wine, even when taken alone.

Red with violet reflections. Special aromas like vanilla. I noticed a licorice flavour.
To this red would have suit better a softer meat.
With my friends we always order Château Charmail.
