Reviews of Château Charmail 2006
It was a gift from a friend who had bought it here.
Red with violet nuances. In my opinion, the most noticeable smell is raspberry. It reminded me of black plums.

I drank it with a connoisseur of wines.
The red and violet edges were visible for me. Fantastic smell of roses. Fleshy, smoothy.
Good wine, even when taken alone.

Red with violet reflections. Special aromas like vanilla. I noticed a licorice flavour.
To this red would have suit better a softer meat.
With my friends we always order Château Charmail.

- View: Château Charmail Cru Bourgeois 2006 is dark ruby red with an almost black core.
- Nose: The very intensive bouquet convinces with rich fruit like blackberry and red cherry, young plum, vanilla, a hint exoticism and Provencal herbs.
- Palate: Strength, full and round tannins with great freshness. Very harmoniously, power and finesse are well combinated.
GRAPES: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc
