Elaboration of Château Charmail 2005
Château Charmail 2005
The wines in Charmail often have a gustatory profile which allows an early drinking thanks to the specificity of the vineyard's vines and the work done on the plants where our main concern has been the ripeness of the grapes and the wine-making technique (cold pre-fermentation maceration).
The wines are generally fruity, with a generous substance and tight tannins. The fact that vintages can be drunk young is not contradictory with their ability to age owing to the richness of the tannins.

Reviews of Château Charmail 2005
Red with violet nuances. In my opinion, the most noticeable smell is raspberry. It reminded me of black plums.
The red and violet edges were visible for me. Fantastic smell of roses. Fleshy, smoothy.
Good wine, even when taken alone.
To this red would have suit better a softer meat.
With my friends we always order Château Charmail.
