Grappa Nardini is a product of the homemade grapperia, born in 1779, under the Republic of Venice, is the oldest in Italy having over two centuries of life.
In 1797, the French, holding grapperia as one of the most important symbols of the region, during the Italian Campaign led by Napoleon Bonaparte, emptied the large copper jars that contained the Nardini grappa.
Subsequently, the Nardini grappa is identified as a valuable element for the Veneto region during the exchange between Austria and France in the regions of Veneto and Lombardy.
