You will like to know that…
In the beautiful country of Australia, in the state of Victoria, can be found the impressive forested hill of Mount Langi. The mountains of the Great Dividing Range are on one side while those in the Grampians National Park lie on the other side. The first vineyards at Mount Langi were first planted over 150 years ago by immigrants who arrived in the area searching for gold.
The grapes for Mount Langi Ghiran Billi Billi Shiraz are collected from vineyards throughout Victoria, both in the Grampians and the Mount Langi Ghiran vineyards. These grapes are exclusively sourced from regions with cool climates so that the final product can really show off the gift that the cool climate gives to the grapes by allowing them to ripen slowly and steadily. The mountains in the area provide shade for the underlying areas to shorten the hours of sunshine while the higher elevation causes the nights to be cooler, especially when the grapes are maturing in autumn.
Mount Langi Ghiran Billi Billi Shiraz draws its name from an aboriginal chief of the region from the 1860s. As a dark wine, it shines with the flavour of fruit, spice, and floral notes that make it perfect to savour. This Australian Shiraz is a luscious choice to enjoy along with beef, lamb, game, or poultry.
