The Tanqueray Rangpur 1L is a distillate produced in the English distillery Tanqueray & Co, and is characterised by a personality who celebrates the union between England and India, wisely mixing cultures and traditions, in a historical recipe that always surprises.
The clean and transparent colour should not be misleading, as the taste of this gin reveals its complexity and sophistication, thanks to the presence of bay leaf and citrus fruits, which give an initial sensation of harmonious contrasts. Juniper berries redefine the limits of the taste experience, made sweet and enveloping by sweet notes and botanical notes, left to macerate for 18 months and present during distillation. The main element, however, is represented by the presence of the fruit of the Indian tree Rangpur lime, a fresh and witty citrus fruit, which gives the typical bitterness sensation to gin.
The Tanqueray Rangpur 1L faithfully follows the tradition of London dry gin. It is very suitable for cocktails and long drinks, but it expresses all its essence when consumed gently, with a little ice cream to enhance citrus fruit notes and give freshness to the palate.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: London dry gin is crafted by double distilling grain, with select botanicals added during the second distillation. The base Tanqueray recipe is a closely guarded secret, but is known to contain angelica root, coriander, juniper, and liquorice. The rare Rangpur lime lends a distinctive and lively additional flavour to Tanqueray Rangpur 1L, giving it both the zestiness of lime and the luscious juiciness of mandarin orange. Ginger and bay leaves are also added during the final distillation process, further crafting the character of this effervescent drink. While it can be enjoyed in your usual favourite cocktail, adding a unique and zesty twist, Tanqueray Rangpur 1L is still best enjoyed in the classic way, on ice and with tonic water.
