With a stylish bottle in which you can see the ruby red colour of berries, Plymouth Sloe Gin is a Premium English gin that is macerated in sloe berries or sloes. To savour it is to talk of English landscapes and forests, as it is made with water from the Dartmoor National Park and sugar.
In addition to red fruits, almonds are also present in the spirit's aroma and in its flavour is a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. For cocktails, along with desserts, over a special gourmet meal, we will surrender to Plymouth Sloe Gin , made by the oldest distillery in England.

Until 2015, Plymouth Gin was a protected geographical indication referring to any gin distilled in Plymouth, England. Today, it is a brand belonging to the French company Pernod Ricard, which also distributes it. It is produced in the Black Friars Distillery, the only remaining gin distillery in Plymouth. In addition to Plymouth Gin Original, a few flavoured variants exist.

Quatre mois sont nécessaires pour fabriquer ce gin dont le goût et la couleur sont entièrement naturels. Les prunelles sont doucement laissées à infuser dans Plymouth Gin puis sont ajoutés de l'eau et du sucre, ce qui confère à Plymouth Sloe Gin son équilibre si particulier.
Selon la tradition, les prunelles doivent être piquées avant la macération pour libérer l'intensité des arômes ... non pas à l'aide d'une fourche, mais avec une broche en argent !
La méthode établie consiste cependant à utiliser une épine du prunellier.
