Its 250-years old recipe has remained a secret but the aromas are easily identifiable: dominant juniper, coriander, as well as lemon and orange peel. The numerous illustrious international prizes can also testify the high quality of Gordon's The Original 1L .
Two bottle designs exist for Gordon's The Original 1L . The first is the emblematic green-glass/silver-label which is the most common in Great-Britain whereas the second was launched when the brand went global. This later design has a more colourful yellow and red label with transparent glass. The element that remains is the characteristic boar's head, a reference to the Gordon Clan's history.
Gordon's The Original 1L is the perfect Gin for a classic G&T, Pink Gin, French 75 or Negroni.
