You will like to know that…
Founded in Spain in 1835, MG Destilerías started out producing horchatas and syrups. Then, in 1880, the company expanded its portfolio to include spirits and liqueurs. This business still remains family run, now in the capable hands of the fifth generation of descendants. The quality, tradition, and innovation that the company was founded with continue to date.
The first gin to ever be offered by MG Destilerías was Gin MG, which even carries the distillery's name. This is a classic gin done in the style of the London Dry Gins. Produced in the traditional manner, this extra-dry gin is very juniper-forward, as you would expect from a classic gin. The enticing smell of juniper rises to greet the nose even before the gin is poured into the glass.
With all of the gins on the market nowadays with strange ingredients or colours, why not take a step back and remember the true gin flavour that enamoured the world? This gin is not subtle, nor does it need to be. The powerful flavour of lemon and juniper is just what you need to have a gin that can stand up its own against ice, tonic, and the summer sun. Smooth and dry, the refreshing hint of spices at the end really gives this gin the lift that will keep you coming back for more.
