PRODUCTION DETAILS: precisely the ingredients used to produce this gin to make it unique in its kind, in fact, all raw materials only comes directly from the natural park Brecon Beacons and, therefore, a quality very rare and superior. Not only grain, juniper and a mixture of 10 plants, but also the pure and crystalline water from reserve sources all contribute to creating a high quality product. The distillation is carried out five times and uses a system consisting of a single copper still surmounted by a distillation column. Aging is carried out in two types of barrels: first barrels previously used for bourbon and in the next phase, in barrels used for the production of Madeira.

Gin Brecon Special Reserve

- Awarded "Gold Best in Class" at the International Wines & Spirits Competition 2011 Brecon Gin is a fine quality distilled gin using botanicals from the four corners of the world and bottled at Penderyn Distillery using water from the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.
- The clarity and purity of Brecon Gin prevails in the clear tall glass bottle which also perfectly highlights the diverse range of botanicals. The list of botanicals and the naturalness of this gin will define a new category of drinkers.
- Taken neat, Brecon gin is a big traditional juniper gin laced with coriander and revealing hints of spicy cinnamon. Add a mixer and the citrus freshness of oranges and lemons appear with nutmeg, liquorice and angelica in a supporting role. The characteristic flavours go well with tonic, ice and lemon on a warm summer's day with a refreshing juniper in the lead role but Brecon's traditional heritage is equally at home besides a roaring fire on a cold night and will bring back memories of long hot summers past.

Only gin from Wales. A very small distillery, minimal productions, with a very clear "philosophy of small production, but exquisitely treated creations; keep growing to keep the traditional sense of craft and their products. "

Five distillations, the best botanical around the world, with pure spring water beneath the distillery.
A gin noted for its citrus and spicy aromas, with intense mouth flavors and balanced.

To my tonic: the glass ball serve with ice to stop (to fill the glass), with the help of the shaker spoon stir the ice crystals to cool the glass and remove the water that has been released.
This time I select a slice of lime, lime peel, previously conducted a Twist and black licorice as a straw.
Time to take gin (short story 1001, 1002 and 1003) from a certain height in order to be oxygenated and pouring it in a circle on the glass to come into contact with the fruit.
And finally, aided by a spiral spoon, add the tonic, very slowly. This time I choose the Qtonic, with a light carbon that do not influence the texture of the gin.

Perfect balance of botanicals are facing a major.
