Brecon Special Reserve Premium Gin comes from the Penderyn Distillery in Wales (Brecon Beacons National Park). It is a gin made from aromatic herbs from all over the world. This 100% grain distillate is fused with 10 different herbs.
It is a gin with a very balanced taste, it is slightly sweet with well integrated alcohol.
This alcoholic drink won a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2011 (England).

Gin Brecon Special Reserve
TASTING NOTES:
- Color: clear and transparent.
- Flavour: The nose has notes of lemon and orange citrus, juniper and licorice, sweet spices with coriander and cinnamon.
- Taste: The taste is slightly sweet, soft and warm with a dry finish and return full of citrus and spicy.
PRODUCER: Penderyn distillery is located in the heart of Brecon Beacons Natural Park, in the small town, and was created in 2000 by the Welsh Whiskey Company, winning, after all, an excellent reputation worldwide.
COUNTRY: Wales.
PRODUCTION DETAILS: precisely the ingredients used to produce this gin to make it unique in its kind, in fact, all raw materials only comes directly from the natural park Brecon Beacons and, therefore, a quality very rare and superior. Not only grain, juniper and a mixture of 10 plants, but also the pure and crystalline water from reserve sources all contribute to creating a high quality product. The distillation is carried out five times and uses a system consisting of a single copper still surmounted by a distillation column. Aging is carried out in two types of barrels: first barrels previously used for bourbon and in the next phase, in barrels used for the production of Madeira.

The company was launched in 2000 as the Welsh Whisky Company. Whisky had been distilled in Wales for hundreds of years, but stopped in 1894 Penderyn became the first whisky to be manufactured in Wales for over a century when sales started in 2004. It remains the only whisky currently produced in Wales.
