The Forest Distillery is a unique 17th-century barn, nestled 1,200ft above sea level within the beautiful Macclesfield Forest in the Peak District National Park.
It is here that the Bond family and a small team of weasels daily distil spirits of the very highest quality. Ingredients are predominately organic and foraged. All water used in the process comes from a cool, clear natural spring.
It all began in 2014 when Lindsay & Karl Bond began foraging for ingredients and home-distilling tiny batches of spirits from the kitchen table in their home next to Macclesfield Forest. Word spread quickly and Forest Gin soon became a roaring success.
The Forest Distillery is a still a tiny, independent distillery where the team of five work hard to produce gin that is recognised as one of the worlds finest spirits having won an unprecedented two separate double-gold medals at the San Francisco Spirit Awards.
